This is a beautiful example of a nearly new pre-64 Winchester Model 100 semi-automatic rifle in the desirable 284 caliber. This cartridge was intended to be the new high velocity cartridge. Production for this model with this cartridge was very low. Produced from 1960 to 1973, this rifle was manufactured in 1963. Features a hooded ramp front bead sight and adjustable fold-down rear sight with a Weaver one-piece scope base on top of the receiver with the left side receiver factory drilled and taped for a receiver sight. One piece walnut pistol grip stock with hand checkered forearm and pistol grips, black metal grip cap, detachable box magazine, checkered black plastic buttplate and factory sling swivels. Complete with manual, hanging tag, Winchester box (without end label) and adjustable brown leather sling.

Excellent. 99% original finish, with the stock exhibiting a few scattered minor nicks/scratches and pressure dents. May have been test fired only. The Winchester style leather sling is also in excellent condition.
