Description:

1) The "Accolades" after P.J. Mene (Fr: 1810-1871) is a magnificent pair of standing Arabian horses nuzzling each other. Each horse has a highly detailed muscular composition. Signed on the base. 2) Done by P.J. Mene (Fr: 1810-1871) this is a pair of separately cast Arabian horses depicting one horse walking on the ground and the other sculpture shows the horse running. Each horse has the stylized muscular composition of a great animalier sculptor as Mene was. Each bronze is signed on the individual bronze plinth. Measuring 12 inches in height, 12 inches in length, and 4 inches in width.
