Single bead sight on a concaved solid rib. Damascus barrels, double triggers and single barrel wedge. Fine scroll engraved frame, under lever, lock plates, hammers and tangs. Each lock plate is marked "JAMES ERSKINE". Checkered straight grip stock and forearm with ebony insert. Fitted with a smooth iron shotgun buttplate and a buttstock oval initial plate. Splinter forearm with wedge lock. Has brown leather Brauer Brothers mutton case. Length of pull approximately 14 1/4".

Very good. The barrels have a smooth pleasant rebrowned patina and retain about 95% of the dark Damascus pattern. There is some scattered dark minor pitting. The rest of the metal surfaces have a mixed brown and gray patina. The markings and engraving are clear. The wood is fine with some minor scratches and dings. Forearm has a couple minor chips. The checkering is very good. The case is very good with some minor scratches and scuff marks. The stitching is tight.
