Single bead sight on a concaved solid rib marked with the one line London address, Damascus barrels, extractor and double triggers. The once casehardened action features a fine scroll engraving. The scroll work continues on the hammers, trigger guard and break lever. The water table is marked with two "crown/V" proofs and "crown/GP" proofs on the underside of the barrels. Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with checkered horn buttplate. Length of pull approximately 14 1/4".

Good. The barrels retain about 20% of the Damascus pattern with some a smooth gray patina, some dark spotting and some minor spotting. The trigger guard, hammers and break lever have a smooth brown patina. The action has a smooth gray patina. The wood is very good with a few minor gouges and some minor dings, dents and scratches mostly on the buttstock. There is a minor chip near the toe and chip missing on the forearm. The left hammer has two thin sheets of metal behind the screw for an unknown reason. The checkering is good and shows signs of being recut in places. The engraving is clear.

Good. Overall the metal surfaces have a smooth dark brown patina. There is some chipping near the left hammer and a minor chip with some wood putty on the forearm, otherwise the wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor dents. The checkering is crisp. The right hammer is cracked and chipped and the left firing pin is extended (barrels do not release), otherwise the action does function. The markings and engraving are clear.
