Left side is marked with the three line New Haven address/patent dates. Mounted on a plain forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel retains approximately 20% of the original thinning blue finish mixed with the beginnings of a smooth brown patina strongest near the breech. The frame shows signs of being cleaned at one time and has an aged bright gray patina. The lever and buttplate have a dark gray patina. The wood is very good with some minor dings and scratches and a couple hairline cracks on the wrist.
