The brass barrel is marked "London" on the top flat and a pair of British proofs on the upper right flat. Brass furniture (including buttcap) and engraved iron action (includes upper tang) with lock marked "SIMMONS". Fixed sights, wooden ramrod and hammer safety. The stock has two barrel wedges and a checkered grip area.

Good. The brass furniture has an aged patina, with a darker patina on the barrel. The action has smooth dark gray patina with some pin prick pitting. There is a minor crack near the forearm tip and a small absent chip near lock, otherwise the stock is good with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor pressure dents. There is some minor bruising in the recut checkering and the forward lock screw is missing. Action needs work as hammer does not hold a full cock position.
