Marked on the left side of the breech end of the barrel "J.C. BREVETE" in a semi-deep relief panel. Fixed front sight with a scroll and oak leaf pattern down the length of the barrel. Floral relief engraved 6-shot cylinder, frame and grip strap. Ejector rod housing on the right. Gold plated finish with folding trigger. Finished with two-piece ivory grips. The pistol is complete in an unmarked brown leather, French fitted pipe case with red lining and brass snap clasp.

Fine, retaining 60% gold plated finish overall. The barrel shows some spotting darkening on high points as do the cylinder and frame. The grips are fine exhibiting a fine mellow aged patina and minor age cracks. The case is also fine with only minor wear and cracking on the edges and some stains and light wear to the lining.
