This is a fantastic example of a like new Model 1895 Mauser rifle that was manufactured under contract by Deutsch Waffen und Munitions (DWM) for the Chilean government. The top of the receiver has the large Chilean crest which consists of a shield with a star in the middle with a standing deer stag on left and an eagle on the right side. The receiver side wall is marked "MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895/ MANUFACTURA LOWE / BERLIN". It has the tangent rear sight, bright polished bolt with the straight handle along with fire blued small parts. The stock and hand guard are walnut with the serial number "D7323" over a small Star of David on the left side below the action and the Chilean Crest on the left side of the buttstock, dated 1895. All numbers match.

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original blue finish overall. The stock and hand guards are both excellent with some minor handling marks overall. All markings are clear, the fire blue is strong on the small parts. Mechanically excellent.
