The top of the barrel extension is dated 1917 and the toggle has the "DWM" makers mark. Proper style sights, with fine adjustment screws and matching numbers on the tangent rear sight. Three "crown/ Gothic Letter" proofs are present on the right side of the extension with the Imperial firing proof, which is repeated on the barrel and breechblock, with matching partial numbers on the small parts. Properly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor. Checkered walnut grips and nickel magazine with wood base. Included with the gun is a brown leather holster, takedown tool, cleaning rod, hardwood stock, leather straps and double magazine pouch.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, with some wear on the high edges, a few areas of shallow pitting and scattered handling marks. Straw colors remainin 95% intact. Grips are excellent, with some light pressure dents. Attaching iron has had the serial number obliterated and is refinished. Otherwise the wood plank is very fine. Leather shows some cracking and wear. Mechanically excellent.
