Manufactured in 1952 in 220 Swift (approximately 20,000 were produced in this caliber). This deluxe version of the standard rifle features a 26 inch round barrel (standard for only the 220 Swift and 300 H&H Magnum) with ramp front sight (blade removed with filler block added), removed rear sight with a Stith Mounts filler block added and single scope blocks on front receiver ring and barrel. Standard markings with single Winchester proofs on the barrel and receiver and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the hinged floor plate. The rifle has the early production bright bolt. Fitted with a deluxe hand checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, pistol grip cap, black forend tip and checkered steel buttplate. Complete with leather sling with Super Grade sling swivels and correct serialized bolt hanging tag.

Excellent plus. The rifle retains approximately 99% plus original blue finish with limited light handling marks. The stock is also excellent plus with a few mild dings and some mild scratches. The checkering is crisp.
