Manufactured in 1953. Ramp blade front sight with ivory bead and hood and adjustable sporting type rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Standard barrel and receiver markings with the Winchester proof on the left front of the receiver and left breech end of the barrel. Mounted on a pistol grip stock with checkered forearm and grip area, hinged floor plate, sling swivels and fitted with a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine, with approximately 95% of the faded original blue finish remaining with some mild muzzle wear, gray patina on the high edges (especially on the floor plate) and on the bolt. The finish on the receiver is thinning. The stock is fine with some minor spotting and some mild handling marks. The checkering is sharp. Mechanically excellent.
