Manufactured in 1958. Hooded ramp front sight and late adjustable folding leaf rear sight. Standard markings with factory proofs on barrel and receiver. The straight style receiver is drilled for scope mounts. Fitted with a high comb checkered pistol grip stock with checkered aluminum buttplate and leather sling.

Excellent. The rifle retains approximately 97% original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear, some light scratches and limited pin prick pitting contained to the bolt handle. There is a chip in the front edge of the trigger guard. The refinished stock is very good with some scattered minor dings and a small chip in the pistol grip area, with crisp checkering overall. The right side of the stock (under the receiver) has an outline of a rectangular area measuring 2 7/8" x 15/16" where likely a presentation plaque was located.
