Manufactured in 1940. Pinned blade front sight and fully adjustable rear target sight. Flat sided heavy barrel marked with the two line Hartford address/patent marking on top. Standard Match Target logo on the left side of the barrel followed by "THE WOODSMAN" and standard caliber marking with the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide. Fitted with checkered grips with imprinted Rampant Colts. Furnished with a blue finished magazine marked"COLT / CAL. 22 L.R." on the base. Complete with correct factory box with the serial number correctly hand written on the bottom.

Excellent. The pistol retains nearly 98% original blue finish with some minor edge wear, some light scratches and some minor thinning on the backstrap. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor dings. Overall the checkering is crisp. The box is very good with minor edge wear (mostly on the lid). The lid is missing a short side, with some edge separation and a repaired tear.
