Manufactured in 1935, this revolver is engraved with approximately 25% coverage of open vine scroll without punch dot. The rear sides of the barrel, cylinder flats, frame, top strap, backstrap, butt and trigger guard all have flourishes of the open vine scroll engraving. In addition the revolver features the standard barrel markings and is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver medallions and a lanyard swivel on the butt. Deep checkering has been cut into the hammer, trigger and grip straps. With a non-matching maroon Colt box and most of the blue label.

Very good with 95% original blue finish on the frame and cylinder. The refinished barrel retains 99% finish, showing a mixed gray patina on the cylinder and backstrap, along with a few spots of bright gray on the high edges and minor handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with light pressure dents and crisp checkering. Box is good, with some material loss and separation at the edges. Action is excellent.
