Manufactured in 1950. In addition to the standard barrel and right side frame markings, the left side of the frame is inscribed To / IND. STATE POLICE / FROM / FORD DEALERS OF INDIANA / 1951". According to consignor notes this was one of a number of revolvers given to the Indiana State Police by the Indiana Ford Dealers Association for their state match team. Patridge front and adjustable target rear sights, trigger shoe, wide spur checkered hammer and fitted with checkered Magna style diamond walnut grips.

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original finish with thinning on the frame and cylinder, and wear on the muzzle. There is a drag line on the cylinder and a few minor dings and handling marks overall. The hammer and trigger retain almost all of the original vivid case colors. The grips are excellent with light handling marks and sharp checkering. The action is excellent.
