Manufactured in 1947, this gallery rifle is chambered for 22 short only, with a triangular feed cut in the magazine tube. Dovetail front and sporting rear sights on a barrel marked with the address, trademark and model information with "22 SHORT" on the left side. The Winchester oval proof appears on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a 17 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% plus original finish with loss limited to some minor wear on the slide bar, magazine tube and barrel from cycling the action, light thinning on the underside of the receiver and some high edge wear on the receiver and bolt. The wood is excellent with a few minor dings and dents. Sharp markings. Action is excellent.
