Colt Third Model or No 3 Derringer with all blue barrel, silver plated brass frame, niter blue screws and varnished walnut grips. The barrel has a half-moon front sight . The top of the barrel is marked "-COLT-" in large italicized letters with a pair of British proofs on the underside. "41 CAL" is stamped on the left side of the frame below the breech end of the barrel. The right side of the frame the small Rampant Colt and the initial C marking placed on pistols sold through the London agency followed by the double stamped London address: "14. PALL MALL". Serial number is on the left side of the frame under the grip.

Period refurbished. The barrel retains traces of blue with the balance a smooth dark gray patina with some minor pitting under the blue with a few dings near the muzzle. The frame has an even aged brass patina. The screws retain much of the niter blue finish. The revarnished grips are very good with some minor dings and scratches, along with a few light edge chips on the right panel.
