Third Model manufactured circa 1859 to 1862. The top barrel is marked "ETHAN ALLEN & CO. WORCHESTER, MASS., / ALLEN'S PATS. SEP. 7 NOV. 9,- JULY 3, 1860". Has the short cylinder (1 inch). Matching serial number on frame and on both grips.

Good. The revolver has been cleaned bright with limited traces of original blue on the barrel at the breech and some mixed brown patina on the cylinder frame and backstrap. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the hammer). The grips are good with some minor dings and scratches.

Manufactured in the early 1860s with several hundred produced. Traces of the address/patent dates marking remain on the left barrel flat. Matching serial number on the frame, loading lever and both grips.

Fair. The revolver has a smooth bright gray patina with a darker patina on the cylinder and hammer. Overall there is minor pitting. The grips are period revarnished with some minor dings and scratches.
