Nickel finish with casehardened hammer and trigger guard, with a folding nickel plated hammer spur marked with the 1885 patent date. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips. Matching serial number on frame, cylinder and barrel. Complete with a red factory box. The lid label is marked "X.L. / BULL DOG,/ 32 CALIBRE./ CENTRAL FIRE./ 3 INCH DOUBLE ACTION", with "332" stamped over "FOLDING HAMMER." on a short side. Has the correct short side label with "332" hand marked in pencil on the other short side.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original nickel finish with some minor flaking and some minor scratches. The hammer and trigger guard retain traces of case colors in the protected areas mixed with a smooth gray patina. The cylinder pin has some minor tool marks that extend to the barrel. The grips are excellent with a few light scratches. The checkering is crisp. The box is very good with exception of a couple tape repairs, some paper loss on the labels and some heavy edge wear, with some separation.
