Rating Definition:

Good. The revolver has a balance between a smooth brown patina and a smooth gray patina with some scattered mild spotting and limited deep pitting (top strap). The trigger guard has a fine aged patina. The slightly ill-fitting grips are good with a minor crack on each panel, a sliver missing from the left panel, and an absent small chip on the right panel, along with some minor dings (mostly on the bottoms). Some scattered traces of the varnish remain. The engraving is clear and crisp.
