1936 Hollywood western movie poster measuring 40" wide by 80" high, printed in full color on heavy weight textured poster board canvas paper. Rolls up for shipment/storage. Would make an excellent addition to any western movie buffs collection, or a great framed decoration for a gun room. The movie is a 1936 Hollywood black and white western talking picture titled "Blazing Justice", starring actors: Gertrude Messinger, Gordon Griffith, Milt Moranti, Bud Buster, and Frank Yaconneli; directed by Al Herman. The front of the poster reads as follows, "SPECTRUM/PICTURE CORP./presents/ BILL CODY/IN/ BLAZING JUSTICE" with the above mentioned list of actors. Film studios in the 1920s and 1930s used the name Bill Cody in an attempt to profit from Buffalo Bill's fame. The bottom right side corner of the poster is marked in small lettering, "Morgan Litho Corp. Cleveland, O." followed by its authenticity number "8077", and the back upper left corner is printed in black marker, "BLAZING JUSTICE / CODY".

Excellent condition overall with fantastic coloring. These type of posters are very seldom seen in this nice of condition. There is some typical creasing on the front and a moderate spot of yellowing on the upper left corner, along with several smaller scattered spots on the back of the poster. The lower half of the poster does not line up perfectly where it was spliced together (made that way), and there is some minor very minimal edge wear. A simply well conditioned and durable movie poster with great visual appeal.
