Description:

The two page letter was sent to Colt regarding the royalty agreement for the Model 1911. The letter details the agreement relating to sub-licensing for the Ordnance Department of the U.S. Army. The letter is signed by J.M. and M.S. Browning. Also attached is another letter from J.M. Browning, on his letter head, and a memo signed by C.J.E.. The memo explains the time line on how the two page letter got signed by the Browning brothers. There is a notation in pencil at the top of the page that a copy was made of the letter on May 18, 1927.
