Description:

Produced by the Case Cutlery Company for the 1st Special Service Force and a limited number of Marine units. Blued double edged spear point 7 1/4 inch blade with hollow ground edges, a ribbed "thumb print" on the ricasso above the "CASE" marking, oval cross guard with a leather pad on the underside, serrated leather washer grip and the flared and pointed "skull crusher" pommel. Complete with a low hanging black leather sheath with reinforcement staples, a leather thong and "C.W.S." attractively period stamped on the front.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% of the original blue, showing bright patches of sharpening at the tip of the blade, some areas of brown patina, and mild edge wear and handling marks overall. Grip is excellent. Sheath is very good, with some scratches and cracking.
