One of many "EL" series Government Model pistols in 38 Super caliber. This particular pistol was manufactured in 2000 and is the limited production (350) El Toro (The Bull). The pistol is finished in high polished blue with nickel jeweled slide stop, trigger, thumb safety and hammer. There is a wedge of floral engraving flanking "El Toro" on the left side of the slide, similar engraving flanks the "GOVERNMENT MODEL" marking on the right side. The same pattern is on both sides the frame above the trigger guard. The Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the slide behind the serrations and the standard one line address appears on the right side. Fixed three dot sights, serrated arched main spring housing and Colt Super 38 marked magazine. The pistol is fitted with simulated pearl grips with a bull carved into each panel. Complete with two piece Colt box, cable lock and papers.
