Frame and slide are set up to accept the Schwartz safety, but all of the Schwartz components are absent. Equipped with a checkered thin spur hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety and arched mainspring housing. With a pair of reinforced Colt wood grips. A "G.H.D." cartouche and crossed cannon ordnance mark are present on the left and right side of the frame, respectively, but we do not confirm these markings as authentic, and are selling this pistol as a commercial production Super 38.

Excellent plus with 98% plus finish with a very minor blemish on the under side of the frame and minor scuffs on the front grip strap and very minor handling marks. The front sight is a little loose. Grips are excellent, with a few minor pressure dents and sharp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
