Large Mauser banner on left side of frame with a "crown U" proofmark on the right front flat of the slide. The grips are one piece wraparound checkered walnut. Excellent, with 95% of the original finish remaining. There is some wear on the high edges, a few scratches, and a few hints of a brown patina forming on the front strap. The grips are moderately worn, with some handling marks and pressure marks on the checkering.
