This custom engraved Remington Model 870 shotgun features floral scroll engraving with marsh scenes on each side with a white gold inlaid duck, two hunting dogs and a grouse on the left side and a duck, two pheasants and grouse on the right side. Model and serial number are marked on the lower left side of the receiver. The trigger guard is engraved with the same pattern and there are two 3" wedges of the same engraving at the breech end of the barrel. Single bead sight, choked modified and chambered for 2 3/4" or shorter shells. Jeweled bolt and follower, and mounted with a custom multi point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a horn grip cap, cheekpiece and replacement Pachmayr White Line vented recoil pad. Complete with a Remington box numbered to another gun.

Very good as custom embellished. The barrel retains 98% blue finish with some minor wear and pitting on the muzzle. The magazine tube shows some wear from cycling the action with some gray areas. The frame shows 99% blue finish with some minor edge wear and a small amount of very minor pitting. The wood is good overall as repaired and custom checkered. The tip of the forearm has had a unmatched piece replaced and the checkering is non-factory, otherwise there are a few scattered minor dents and dings. The engraving remains crisp. The action is fine.
