Manufactured in 1912. Single bead sight on a matted barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, choked full. Standard three line marking on the slide bar and left rear of the barrel with the matching serial number marked on the bottom of takedown ring and receiver. Mounted with a checkered forearm and straight grip stock with ebony diamond inserts on the wrist and a replacement, ill-fitting and chipped, black checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Length of pull approximately 13 5/8".

Good. The barrel retains approximately 90% original finish with some thinning on the muzzle, wear in front of the magazine from disassembling and tool marks on the left side at the breech. The magazine retains approximately 70% thinning original finish with areas of smooth gray patina. The receiver retains approximately 70% original thinning finish with areas of smooth gray patina and high edge wear. The wood is good overall with the stock having been shortened slightly. There are three minor pressure dents on the right side rear of the stock, otherwise overall a few minor dings, dents and scratches. The buttplate is ill-fitting and there is a large chip on the toe. The checkering shows moderate wear. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is fine.
