Excellent. The barrels retain 97% original blue finish with some minor wear on the muzzle and overall a few light scratches and handling marks. The lever retains 95% original bright blue finish. The action retains 90% of the vivid case colors with some fading to a smooth gray on the underside. The trigger guard tang and forearm hardware have faded to a smooth gray patina. The wood is very fine with several small pressure dents on the wrist, a small chip on the upper left rear edge of the forearm and overall some minor dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. Clear markings. The mechanics are excellent.
