Raised bead front and hammer groove rear sights, with scroll engraving on the breech, "W. ORTMANN" on the left side, and matching numbers on the breech, blade lug and blade. The blade is Bowie-style, 4" long with a 1 7/8" long back clip. Matching numbers are also present on the frame and cylinder, with scroll designs on the cylinder between the flues and vine work on the frame. Additional engraving is also present on the backstrap and trigger guard. Checkered bag shaped grips, with raised floral designs near the frame and a lanyard ring on the butt. Good as period refinished showing a mixed brown and gray patina overall, scattered spotting and handling marks, and a small amount of pitting. Grips are good, with pressure dents and tiny chips. Mechanically fine.
