This is an example of a Type II, or Model Number 3, derringer manufactured from 1888 to 1911. The derringer has the manual extractor and is marked " REMINGTON ARMS CO., ILION, N.." on the barrel rib. Nickel finished with niter blue hammer, extractor, barrel release, and spur trigger. Matching numbers on frame and barrels. Fitted with pearl grips.

Excellent. The derringer retains 97% original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking. The small components retain 50% of the original niter blue finish. The finish has a slight frost appearance. The grips are also excellent with some mild scratches.
