Class: Antique
Description:

This pistol is the predecessor to the Remington Number One Vest Pocket Pistol. Brass receiver with iron barrel and grip frame. Once blue barrel and possibly nickel plated grip frame. The private collection number "KM608" on the receiver is the only marking. This stands for Karl Moldenaver, probably the most famous Remington collector in history! Fitted with smooth walnut grips. Complete with a case holding several rounds and a second pistol. The case is marked with the same collection number as found on the pistol. These are possibly patent models or purely prototypes. They were sold at public auction by the Richard Bourne Auction Co. in 1980 as lot #202.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel and grip frame have been cleaned with even pin point pitting. The brass is fine. The grips are also fine with a few light handling marks. The case is also fine with exception of a detached lid and some minor wear (heavier on the corners). The interior lining shows some minor wear.
