Description:

This is an example of a correct "as issure" WWII U.S. Army Stevens contract 520-30 trench shotgun, with correct bayonet lug adapter, 6-hole ventilated handguard, two line gauge marking on the left side of the barrel (cylinder choke, 2 3/4 inch chamber) and the three line address on the right side of the barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked "U.S", along with the model marking and "P / ordnance bomb". All blue finish. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock, canvas sling and serrated plastic buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The shotgun retains 95% original blue finish thinning to a brown patina with moderate slide wear. There is some barely noticable minor pitting on the rear sides of receiver and base of magazine tube, along with some mild spotting. There are two minor pressure dents on the left side behind the upper tang and a shallow gash on the comb, otherwise the wood is very fine with some scattered minor handling marks. The forearm is a darker color compared to the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
