Blade front and folding ladder peep sight, with the Winchester barrel dated "11-17" and standard markings on the top of the receiver ring. Small parts marked "E". Smooth stock, with sling swivels and a flat buttplate.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 95% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and minor handling marks. Stock is very good, showing light chips, scratches and uneven areas in the varnish. Mechanically excellent.

Hooded blade and adjustable peep sights, with an early production corresponding Remington barrel dated "8-43", standard receiver markings, two bolt stock with Ordnance and "FJA" stamps on the left side, circled block "P" in the grip area and a flat buttplate. The serial range for 03-A3 Remington began around 4000000, thus making this example very early in production.

Excellent as arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerized finish, showing a few small handling marks overall. Stock is very good, with some mild scuffs and dings overall, along with some cosmoline seeping around the recoil bolts. Mechanically excellent. Appears unissued since arsenal rebuild.
