Description:

Barrel has the two line address/1901-1909 patent date marking with "S&W D.A. 45" on the left side, and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. The upper left rear of the frame is stamped with the GHS inspector marking and the butt has the four line U.S. Army model marking. Fitted with smooth grips and lanyard ring on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% plus original blue finish with a brown patina on the backstrap, thinning on the front grip strap and minor edge wear with some minor spotting. The barrel has holster wear with minor pitting in that area as well as on the top strap. The grips are very fine with some minor dings and scratches, along with a minor dent a bottom edge (right panel).
