Description:

Fixed front and notch rear sights, with "COLT D.A. 45" on the left side of the barrel, two line address and patent markings on top and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. An "JMG" inspection cartouche is present on the left side of the frame, with the Rampant Colt below it and standard U.S. markings on the butt with a lanyard swivel. Smooth walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing scattered areas of brown patina, brown and gray on the grip straps, bright edge wear, and mild handling marks and spotting overall. Grips are very fine, with a small amount of varnish loss around the butt and light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
