Manufactured from 1964 to 1985. Elevation adjustable post front and windage adjustable flip leaf rear sights, with 3-prong flash hider, bayonet lug, vented triangular handguard. Early style receiver, produced without deflector, forward assist, or protective rib around the magazine catch, standard markings on the left side of the lower receiver. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip, black canvas sling, 20-round detachable magazine and a serrated buttplate.

Excellent, with 97% of the original finish, showing light wear on the left side of the receiver, and a small amount of spotting and handling marks overall. A few light scratches are present on the stock. Mechanically excellent.
