Description:

A wartime expedient version of the Modelo 38 SMG, the 38/43 saw use with both the Axis and Allies during the course of the war. Blade front and 2-leaf notch rear sights, with 2-port muzzle brake, unfluted barrel, and caliber markings on top of the recoil spring tube. Mechanism is open bolt, with dual triggers for fire control. Smooth pistol grip stock, with forearm grasping grooves and a smooth buttplate. No magazine. NOTE: This is a fully transferable NFA Class III Firearm currently on a Form 4. You are required to check your state and/or local laws as to whether or not you may own this. This weapon can be transferred to a Class III dealer at no charge. Buyer pays all other transfer fees and stamps.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, showing light scratches and dents, along with areas of bright patina and smooth wear. Stock is also excellent, with a few pressure dents and scuffs. Extractor is absent, otherwise mechanically excellent.
