Designed for use as an automatic police carbine, the Reising Model 50 entered service with the United States Marine Corps in 1941 as a substitute weapon for the Thompson SMG and the M1 Carbine. Though cheaper and more accurate than the Thompson, the Reising had reliability and maintenance issues in the harsh conditions of jungle warfare. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, with a flash hider/ muzzle break, cooling fins on the barrel, three line New Haven address near the ejector port, and three position selector on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock, with cocking lever on the underside, threaded takedown nut, sling swivels and a ribbed buttplate. NOTE: This is a fully transferable NFA Class III Firearm currently on a Form 4. You are required to check your state and/or local laws as to whether or not you may own this. This weapon can be transferred to a Class III dealer at no charge. Buyer pays all other transfer fees and stamps.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of brown spotting and scattered handling marks. Stock is excellent, with a few minor pressure dents. Box is fair, with some holes and tears. Mechanically good.
