This is a rare Czech Police VZ25, serial number 89. The top of the receiver ring is marked with a small "7,89" over the large Czech crest and the left side is marked "Polic.Reditelstvi / Opava 89". The two line Brno address/model marking is stamped on the left receiver wall. Ramped inverted "V" front sight with side protectors and tangent rear sight. The left side of buttstock is stamped "POLIC. REDITELSTVI / OPAVA / 89". Complete with a leather sling and bayonet marked "CSZ". Matching numbers on receiver, bolt, floor plate, and stock.

Excellent, with 98% original blue finish showing some minor thinning on the barrel and some scattered light spotting. The stock is also excellent with a few minor scratches and some minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is excellent.

The left side of the receiver is marked "she / 007 [crossed swords] 56" (year of manufacture) over the serial number. A circled "T" proceeds the serial number. It has a military style tangent rear sight graduated to 900 meters, blade front sight (without hood), a Russian flat blade style side folding bayonet, a grenade launcher (with special rear sight), ten shot magazine and hardwood stock and a half metal, half wood handguard. These are superb little carbines as they were manufactured from all machined parts and were difficult to produce and eventually were replaced with the AK47 rifles. Complete with an extra magazine and a canvas magazine pouch.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original parkerized finish with a few minor scuffs and scratches. The stock is also excellent with a some scattered minor dings and a few minor dents. Mechanically excellent.
