Description:

Dated 1917 on the chamber, with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Fitted with blade front and tangent rear sights, the latter numbered to match the gun and fitted with a fine adjustment screw. The right side of the chamber has a set of three "crown/ gothic letter" proofs and the Imperial Eagle firing proof, which is repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, hold open, safety, toggle links, breechblock and firing pin. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked upper safety position and extractor, nickel plated magazine with wood base and checkered grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the faded original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the gripstraps, scattered light pitting overall, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. Grips are very good, showing moderate wear, some pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
