Manufactured in the mid-to-late 1940 timeframe. Fixed sights, two line "HP" address on the slide between the banner and model markings, barrel renumbered, otherwise matching, "eagle/ N" commercial proofs, and black checkered early production "480" numbered grips.

Very good as professionally refinished, nice sharp edges and clear proofs, with 95% blue, showing light wear on the edges, thinning on the grip strap and light handling marks. Grips are also excellent with minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
