Blade and notch sights, with "P.38", "byf/ 43" and the serial number on the left side of the slide, and "WaA135" and "eagle/ swastika" proofs on the right side, with "359" (Walther) on the barrel and re-stamped "eagle/ 88" (Spreewerk) on the frame and locking block. Ribbed brown plastic grips.

Professionally assembled, refinished, and restamped, with 98% of the current blue, showing a few mild handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with light scratches.

Post-War production, possibly for the Volkspolizei, using a combination of wartime and post-war parts. Fixed sights, with matching numbers on the slide and frame, "crown/N" on underside of barrel, wreathed "A.B./9" mark on frame, renumbered barrel and "02" marked locking block with "359" Nazi proof. Ribbed black grips.

Arsenal refurbished/ reworked, with 98% of the blue remaining, showing light handling marks and sub-surface pitting, along with a few small areas of brown and plum patina. Magazine catch is battered. Grips are very good, slightly undersized, with light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
