This is a solid example of a 1902 Commercial Luger with the distinctive "American Eagle" crest on the chamber. Directly under the frame serial number it is marked "GERMANY" and it is fitted with a nickel plated magazine with wood base. The full serial number is located on the frame and the bottom of the barrel. Partial serial numbers are stamped on the takedown latch, side plate, trigger, toggle links and breechblock. Polished lower safety position, with the flat extractor unmarked. Grips are checkered walnut.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as partially professionally restored, with 98% of the attractive high polish blue, showing a small area of brown patina on the right side of the frame above the grip, a few tiny areas of pitting on the extension, and light handling marks and edge wear overall. 95% of the original straw colors remain. Grips are excellent, with some minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
