This is an example of a Nazi police "eagle C" marked Walther PPK pistol. The pistol has a firing pin indicator on the slide, and a lanyard loop on the bottom of the frame. An "Eagle/C" police acceptance mark is stamped on the left side below the magazine release button and below that are a few minor dents and a non-factory added stamp "SFP". The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther Banner followed by the two-line factory legend and "MOD PPK". The matching serial number is marked on the right side of the frame and slide and the "Eagle/N" proofmark is stamped on the right side of the barrel on the chamber and muzzle and on the right side of the slide below the ejection port. The magazine is marked with the Walther banner, model and caliber on the lower left side. Fitted with brown plastic one piece checkered grip with the Walther banner at the top.

Very fine. The pistol retains 85% faded original finish with some wear and minor pitting on the slide. The frame is a smooth brown patina. The grips are good with a small hairline crack at the screw escutcheon on each side, and minor crack at the top of the backstrap and scattered minor dings with crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The mechanics are excellent.

Fixed sights, with the two line Walther address and caliber markings on the left side of the slide between the Walther banner and model marking. Illegible slide number, with pre-1940 commercial crown/ N proofs on the barrel, chamber and slide. Black plastic wrap-around grips with the Walther banners at the top of each side.

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, with patches of gray patina near the muzzle, mild spotting on the chamber, and scattered handling marks. Grips are very good later production replacements, slightly undersized with scratches, dents and a section absent from the butt. Mechanically excellent.
