Manufactured between 1969 and 1971. Features a ramp front and folding adjustable rear sights. Standard markings with a deer in relief and a floral pattern on the floor plate. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip stock. Complete with a brown leather sling and a Tasco 3-9x scope.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% of the original blue with some scratches on the barrel. The wood is very good with scratches and handling marks scattered overall. Optics are clear.

Features a straight pull sliding bolt assembly. The top of the breech of the barrel and left side of the receiver are marked with the Mauser Banner logo and the left side of the receiver also has "M96". The right side of the receiver is marked "MAUSER-WERKE / Oberndorf," with "MADE IN GERMANY" on the barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked "Mod 96 Cal. .30-06". Fitted with a checkered pistol grip stock with a small cheekpiece and quick-detachable sling swivels. The butt is fitted with a black rubber non-slip buttplate marked "MAUSER". Receiver is mounted with a 3x9 Tasco scope.

Near new with only light handling marks overall and a small nick on the cheekpiece. Optics are clear.
