This is a magnificent, extensively gold inlaid AYA side lock shotgun. The action, side plates, break lever, safety lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware are gold inlaid engraved with ducks and marsh grass on the left side plate and pheasants in tall grass on the right side plate. The remaining surfaces are gold inlaid engraved with floral designs. All of the background is a matte blue finish. The barrels are blue with a non-factory high vent rib with a white bead front and added red mid sight. The breech end of the upper barrel has a border of floral scroll engraving and marked "AYA / AGUIRRE & ARANZABAL" on the upper left rear of the barrel and a faint partial marking is visible on the upper right rear. Matching serial numbers on the action, barrels and forearm. Chambered 2 3/4", choked full/improved modified with ejectors that have been gold washed. Kresten cross bolt, double under locking lugs, cocking indicators, selector mounted to the right of the single selective trigger, tang mounted safety and mounted with a checkered three piece walnut forearm with gold washed screws and pistol grip stock with a checkered bare wood butt. Very few of this model are imported into the U.S.

Excellent. The barrels retain 95% original finish with touch-up done at the breech end after the rib was added. As noted above the marking on the upper right rear of the barrel has been polished down and some of the engraving on the upper left side has also been polished down. There are a few overall scattered minor scratches and dings on the barrels. All of the gold inlay and gold wash remains. The wood is very good with some overall scattered minor dings, dents and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
