Introduced in 1998, an enhanced version of the double action USP 45. Marked "HK USP TACTICAL" "45 Auto" on the left side of slide over the serial number and proof marks. The polymer frame has an ambidextrous magazine release and the safety lever also serves as a decocking lever. Blade front and adjustable rear target sights and an accessory rail ahead of the trigger guard, the threaded barrel extends past the frame for mountable accessories and the textured grip has checkering in the grip strap areas. Comes in a gray padded H&K carrying case with extra magazine, lock, cleaning/tool kit and papers.
