Whitney Firearms Co. manufactured 22,000 of these pistols from 1955 to 1962. It's built on an aluminum alloy frame with fixed sights, brown checkered grips and detachable 10 round magazine. The upper left rear of the frame is marked "WHITNEY" and the right side is marked with the one line New Haven address. The pistol is nickel plated. Around 900 Wolverine pistols had the nickel plated finish. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun.

Excellent, with over 99% of the original nickel finish remaining with a few moderate scratches on the right side of the frame. The grips are also excellent with a few light scratches. The checkering is crisp.
