Produced in Prague. Near-full coverage scroll and floral engraving on the frame, with scroll designs on the dog head hammer, a raised beast on the bolster, and "FR.NOWAK/ IN PRAG" inlaid in gold on top of the receiver. Double set triggers, with a finger rest guard. Full length stock, with a rounded tip followed by a flat on the underside, checkered forearm and wrist with raised carved scrolls and "crown/K" in a silver plate on the forearm and a right side thumb rest on the wrist, burl walnut grain on the butt with a raised cheekpiece, floral carved patch box lid and an engraved buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel shows a mixed gray patina with mild spotting and handling marks, the silver components showing a fine aged patina and the gold strong. The frame has turned a smooth gray patina. Stock is very good, with two areas of lost material on and below the cheekpiece and light pressure dents and scratches overall. Mechanically fine.
